Student Services

ExtraCURRICULAR Programs

Liberty Prep is happy to have opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, Catholic Charities, Anazao, and Goodwill Industries in our building working with our students to deliver pre-employment, self-advocacy, mental health, and career exploration services.

These opportunities will increase these students' chances of obtaining meaningful employment and help them build healthier relationships.

  • Mindfulness- offered twice a week, this mix of meditation, breathing techniques, and beginner yoga is a chance for students to take some time away from their classes to clear their mind and relax.
  • Men of Honor & Girls' Circle- both of these groups meet once a week and provide students with a chance to discuss current social, cultural, and world issues with their same gender peers.
  • Art Breakout Program- Beginning at the end of September 2021, we will be hosting an art program twice a week allowing students a chance to express their creative side with a variety of mediums as well as spend time studying the history behind the art we value today. This is an opportunity for students to earn credit toward "Intro to Art" as well.

Military Services

During the course of the year, Liberty Prep has had visits from the Army Reserves, the Marines, and the National Guard. All students will have the opportunity to take the ASVAB Military entrance exam in February to give them an idea of what areas they may excel in within the different branches of the U.S. Military.
